OUR CAUSES

Providing Safe Shelters

In collaboration with the Department of Social Development, ServetoServe Foundation provides safe spaces for vulnerable children and women through dedicated drop-in facilities. These places of safety serve as temporary shelters designed to cater to the unique needs and situations of each individual. Whether someone requires short-term accommodation or more extended support due to challenging circumstances, ServetoServe’s facilities offer a secure, welcoming environment where people can find respite and care. Staffed by compassionate professionals, these shelters not only address immediate safety concerns but also provide access to essential services, emotional support, and resources aimed at helping individuals stabilize and begin their journey toward a better future.

Empowering Women and Children

ServetoServe Foundation goes beyond providing immediate shelter by empowering women and children to achieve long-term self-sufficiency and well-being. Recognizing the importance of sustainable change, the foundation offers resources tailored to foster independence and resilience. Women receive access to vocational training, financial literacy programs, and mental health support, which equips them to secure stable employment or start small businesses. By connecting them with support networks and mentors, ServetoServe helps these women overcome personal and societal challenges, nurturing their confidence and self-worth.

For children, ServetoServe provides educational programs, tutoring, and recreational activities to support cognitive and social development. These initiatives allow children to catch up on missed schooling and find a sense of community.

Educational Support

ServetoServe Foundation places a strong emphasis on supporting children’s educational needs, recognizing that education is crucial to breaking cycles of poverty and instability. The foundation offers tutoring, homework assistance, and remedial classes to help children catch up on missed schooling and improve their academic skills. Through partnerships with educators and volunteers, ServetoServe provides personalized learning support and organizes workshops to enhance literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.

Beyond academics, the foundation encourages holistic development by facilitating extracurricular activities such as art, sports, and music. These programs help children develop confidence, build social skills, and find joy in learning. By creating a nurturing educational environment, ServetoServe not only addresses immediate educational gaps but also lays a foundation for lifelong learning, empowering children to envision a future of possibility and independence.

Primary school children

"Thanks to the incredible support from ServetoServe Foundation, children in Zimbabwe are receiving the educational help they desperately needed. The foundation’s commitment has provided our community with resources that were previously out of reach, like tutoring, school supplies, and dedicated support programs. Many children who struggled with basic literacy and math are now not only keeping up with their peers but excelling. For the first time, they’re experiencing the joy of learning and dreaming about their future. ServetoServe has brought hope and transformation to our community, giving these children a brighter path forward."
